Back in the days it used to be secretive having a boyfriend, people only come to the light of your relationship when he finally decides to visit your family but with the wave with which showing off your supposed boyfriend has eaten deep into the worlds system, it is just normal to be seen with him in public, invite him over and everything.
Ladies now advertise boyfriends on social media, you would wonder why I dwell solely on “boyfriend” this is because it has a special effect on the ladies. They would always be consumed with the flavor of the moment and come back crying when things go bad, they begin looking for anything or anyone that could pass for an anodyne when they blindfold themselves to every conspicuous sign that revealed itself that the relationship might crash soon.
When did who would sit on the passenger’s seat become an issue of discussion? While scrolling through my timeline on Facebook, I saw a story where a friend related a situation and needed suggestion on what to do because his girlfriend grew paranoid over his best friend sitting in the front sit with him while she sat behind. I mused at why that could be a problem because from his explanation he works he works with the said best friend in the same office and decided they do a hang out after work he thought of also calling his girlfriend to join them, went over to pick her but she couldn’t get to sit beside him cause his best friend had already taken the position. I saw it as an opportunity to explore the subject of contention.
Ladies like to feel special and be treated like they are the one in charge. besties are cool too but should understand their place sure their relationship with you might have come a long way but when it comes to emotions you are only driven to one person and such should be respected because at the end of the way when bestie is gone you have just your girlfriend to give you all the love you desire. Although I see no reason why girlfriend would get upset since best friend was already there before she arrived but justice should be served
As the saying goes “give to Ceaser what belongs to Ceaser” so ‘give to bae what belongs to bae’, you know how ladies like that front seat like it’s their birthright.
